Terms & Conditions:

All Private Virtual Experiences

Bookings:

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email)

  • Dates and time slots can be held for 48 hours in non-peak and 24 hours in peak season before an invoice will be issued

  • Peak season is November and December

  • Dates/times and experience type will be confirmed in writing once payment for deposit or full amount has been received

Payment Terms

  • All payments are due on the receipt of invoice

  • If an experience is confirmed more than 28 days prior to the date of the experience a non-refundable deposit for £350+VAT will be charged

  • A final invoice for the balance of the experience will be issued before virtual experience tasting boxes are dispatched

  • If an experience is confirmed 28 days or less prior to the date of the experience an invoice for the experiences final numbers will be issued

  • If exact final numbers are not known 28 day so less prior to the date of the experience an invoice for the minimum quoted numbers will be issued.

  • When final numbers are confirmed another invoice will be issued for the balance

  • All virtual experiences require payment in full before the virtual experience tasting boxes are dispatched

  • All experiences require a minimum order quantity of 12 virtual experience tasting boxes if a greater minimum number hasn’t been included on quotation

Cancellation & Transfer Policy:

  • All events must be cancelled in writing (email)

  • Experiences cancelled up to 28 days in advance will incur a cancellation fee of £350+VAT. This fee will be retained at the point of refund

  • Experiences cancelled less than 28 days in advance of the book experience date will not be refunded

  • Experiences cannot be refunded once drinks boxes are ready in the warehouse to be dispatched or have been dispatched

  • Experience dates can only be transferred to another date if we receive 30 days written (email) notice in advance of the confirmed experience date and is subject to availability

Distribution of boxes:

  • We require a minimum 7 days notice to dispatch the virtual experience tasting boxes

  • Madam Geneva & Gent Ltd is not liable for missed or failed deliveries arising from incorrect or incomplete delivery information received

  • Our virtual experience tasting boxes can only be delivered to UK Mainland addresses

  • Due to UK distribution and duty laws our fulfilment house is unable to deliver drinks tasting boxes overseas including the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland

The Experience:

  • Madam Geneva & Gent Ltd will provide the meeting link for all our virtual experiences unless otherwise agreed

  • All Madam Geneva & Gent Ltd Virtual Experiences will be delivered via Zoom Meetings unless otherwise agreed

  • All attendees need to provide their own glassware, cocktail equipment, ice and garnishes which they will use for the experience, full details of what is required will be sent to all participants via email prior to the date of the experience

  • All attendees are responsible for their own device being compatible with Zoom Meetings and being fully charged or plugged in

  • All attendees are fully responsible for having a good connection to the internet during the event

  • Please inform Madam Geneva & Gent Ltd if you have any allergies which may affect you during the gin tasting or cocktail experience

  • The Chief Medical Officers for the UK recommend that if you're pregnant or planning to become pregnant, the safest approach is not to drink alcohol at all to keep risks to your baby to a minimum

  • Madam Geneva & Gent Ltd is not liable or responsible for any issues arising from drinking anything during our gin tasting events

  • All participants must be 18 or over to attend. ID may be required before attending

  • Madam Geneva & Gent reserves the right to modify or cancel the experience without prior notice if unforeseen circumstances arise. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the event, we shall inform you as soon as possible using the contact details provided to us and offer you a full refund of the experience

  • Madam Geneva & Gent Ltd supports drinking responsibly

 

PRIVATE GIN EXPERIENCES

  • Madam Geneva & Gent are not responsible for providing a venue for the gin experience. If clients do ask Madam Geneva & Gent to source a suitable venue/location a separate venue finders-fee will be charged

  • All venue hire costs, minimum spends agreements, corkage charges and any other fees charged by the clients chosen venue will be responsibility of client and are not included in Madam Geneva & Gents gin experience fee

  • Please inform Madam Geneva & Gent if you or any of your guests have any allergies that may affect you during the experience or if any of your guests are pregnant

  • If any guests are unsure about any of the drink or food offered during the experience, we advise that you do not eat or drink the item

  • Madam Geneva & Gent is not liable or responsible for any issues arising from eating or drinking anything during the experience

  • Madam Geneva & Gent reserves the right to refuse admission to our experiences to any person that the we deems unfit to attend the experience including those displaying disorderly conduct or drunkenness

  • Madam Geneva & Gent supports drinking responsibly

Private Gin Experiences Fees & Payments

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking and secure the gin experience date

  • The remaining balance is payable 30 days prior to the confirmed date of the Gin Experience

  • Gin Experiences booked/confirmed less than 30 days in advance of the gin experience date require 100% non-refundable payment of the proposed gin experience fees

  • Any additional costs incurred over and above the proposed gin experience will be billed post event

Cancellations or Transfers:

  • All cancellations must be received in writing

  • 50% of the proposed gin experience fee is non-refundable

  • 100% of the gin experience is non-refundable if the gin experience is cancelled within 30 days prior to the agreed gin experience date

  • Gin experience dates are transferable if requested in writing and received 30 days or more prior to the agreed experience date, subject to availability

  • Madam Geneva & Gent reserves the right to modify or cancel the experience without prior notice if unforeseen circumstances arise. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the event, we shall inform you as soon as possible using the contact details provided to us and offer you a full refund of the experience

  • This excludes cost of possible venue hire fees for which Madam Geneva & Gent cannot be held responsible 

 

Ticketed Events

  • Each ticketed gin tasting requires a 100% payment to confirm the booking.

  • All tickets purchased are not refundable

  • Tickets can be transferred to another person when received in writing (email ginfo@madamgenevaandgent.co.uk).

  • Tickets can be transferred to other dates of the same tasting event if received in writing (email ginfo@madamgenevaandgent.co.uk) at least 5 working days prior to the date of the original gin tasting booked

  • Please arrive promptly for the beginning of the gin tasting. Late arrivals might not be permitted entry. If you think you will be late please contact Emma or Wil on 07934 781 056 or 07904 529 287 respectively

  • No food is provided during the gin tasting

  • Please inform Madam Geneva & Gent Ltd if you have any allergies which may affect you during the gin tasting or if you are pregnant

  • Madam Geneva & Gent Ltd is not liable or responsible for any issues arising from drinking anything during our gin tasting events

  • All participants must be 18 or over to attend
