About Madam Geneva & Gent
Our aim is to enlighten our guests to the history and influence Gin has had on our country. Most of us enjoy a gin and tonic however very little know the origins of the drink, the scandal that surrounds the spirit and it resurgence and rise to popularity once again.
Madam Geneva & Gent is the creation of Emma Parker of Coutours and Wil Watts of Wil Watts Events. Emma and Wil met through the London business networking scene and quickly discovered they were kindred 'spirits' when it came to Gin.
Emma leads successful walking tours exploring the history of gin, and it's fascinating relationship with London including Mastercards 'The Great London Gin Walk', The History of London in Four Drinks and Ginsanity. Wil creates, hosts and has worked on events for clients including Facebook and events such as The Waitrose Drinks Festival. One night - over a cheeky gin martini - Emma and Wil decided to combine their talents and skills and Madam Geneva & Gent Gin Experiences was born.
About Emma
Founder of Coutours, a walking tour company providing a unique and personal experience for their clients. Emma was formerly a PR specialist working in retail, food and travel industries. Launching Coutours in 2011 and has been getting through plenty of shoe leather ever since!
Emma studied History at the University of London (UCL & Kings) which has been invaluable for the background to London.
Coutours has repeatedly received the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence from 2012 to 2017.
About Wil
Wil is a creative and dynamic events manager. Working in the events and networking industry for 16 years in London, the UK and internationally.
Opening boutique events management agency Wil Watts . Events in 2014 his passion lies in creating incredible experiences for his clients and their guests.
Wil has a background in theatre and the performing arts studying at the University of Hertfordshire which has added to his artistic flare when developing unique events experiences for his clients.
