Love is in the air...and our cocktails!

The British are known for being a bit reticent about showing their feelings.

We make a thing of it; we bumble and stumble and just when you have nearly given up, boom, we’ve said it – well, that is according to Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Maybe this reticence helps to force these emotions on to paper, into lyrics, poetry and novels. We have the restrained passion of Jane Austen or William Shakespeare, the lyrical beauty of Keats and not forgetting the wordsmith wizardry of Victoria Wood in the Ballad of Barry and Freda!

You see, we are never more than a few feet from a romantic moment, even here in chilly old Blighty…

In honour of Valentine’s Day, we have dusted off our harps, harnessed a couple of loved-up white swans and opened our drinks cabinet.

We will mix and muddle our way through three delicious and romantic cocktails. We have squeezed in a whole evening of love and fun into our cocktail box this year and look forward to you joining us on the big night itself – Sunday 14th February at 7pm.

We will reveal secrets, love stories and wax lyrical about love potions while whisking up fabulous cocktails.

To book by the end of Monday 8th Feb (so we can get your Valentine’s Cocktail Box to you in time). For full details of the experience and how to book click on the button below.

Here’s a little taster to get you in the mood…

“In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.” - Pride And Prejudice by Jane Austen

“Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night.” - Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare

"Let's do it, let's do it, have a crazy night of love!
I'll strip bare,
I'll just wear
Stilettos and an oven glove!"
- The Ballad of Barry and Freda, Victoria Wood
